Caroline Kahn Werboff has been selling residential real estate for more than thirty years. She began her career in 1973 in Contra Costa County where she worked in real estate sales and also in new home development as a sales manager and assistant to the director of marketing. She moved to San Francisco and to Hill & Company in 1983.
A seasoned expert, Caroline has weathered a variety of market conditions. “During the past 30 years, I’ve experienced five recessions and the effects they have had on the real estate market,” says Caroline. Each market climate has been unique and challenging. It is important to be able to modify sales and marketing techniques and to remain competitive through continuing education and experience. To manage any market condition requires the skill to expertly handle listings and encourage and counsel buyers.”
Caroline was the top salesperson at Hill & Company in 1987, 1993, 2002 and 2004. In 2005 and 2006, she was in the top 3, and in all other years she has been one of the top five realtors at Hill & Company. In 2004, Caroline listed and sold over twenty-eight properties totaling more than $41,000,000. In 2005, Caroline’s total sales were $54,261,000.
Caroline’s reputation is sterling and she is renowned for her attention to detail and powerful negotiation skills. People and community matter to Caroline. “One characteristic has remained constant throughout my career; this is a service business and my success is directly related to the ongoing attention and thoughtfulness I provide to my clients.
Marketing, negotiating, and financial skills must be precise, fair and highly competitive in a sophisticated atmosphere such as San Francisco. I take pride in representing the fine people whom I have become associated with over the years. Their business and personal matters are held with total confidence and respect.”
Caroline was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She is married to Larry Werboff, a well-respected physician in the San Francisco community and chief of Urology at California Pacific Medical Center. They have two sons. Caroline earned her B.A. in English Literature and Religion from Indiana University and studied at Western College for Women in Oxford Ohio.
